The Acorn Project began 4 years ago after our community lost a dear and close friend to brain cancer at the young age of 28. He showed up and lived his life so fiercely during the last year of his life, it inspired everyone around him to live life within each moment and never take for granted the life you have to live.
After his passing, with the help of his friends and family we created the Acorn Project, which allowed us to take his cremains on grand adventures.
To spread his ashes into the wondrous landscapes we live within, to share experiences with the people you love, and to Journey On so he could continue to live his life through the eyes of his loved ones;
because yesterday is the past, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift,
which is why we call it the present.
Since the beginning of the first Acorn Project for Kent Noble Black and the other clients whose family started an Acorn project for their loved one, there have been over 300 urns made, shared, and spread across the globe.
